Hey folks,
I'm happy to announce that our website designer Alistair has recovered and is once again working on our new website. We haven't got any more details regarding the website to share with you just yet, but here's a sneak peak at an early version:
Secondly, I'd like to provide a little direction for people in the suggestions forum. At the moment, we would like people to focus on posting ideas for defences, spells, and campaign maps. We will be providing more information on these three things in the coming weeks, but as we come to design these elements of the game we'd like to give everyone the opportunity to have their ideas come to life.

Hey folks,
Today we have some more eye candy for you!
First up, here's the finished, in-game model of the Gateway which we showed you in an earlier post:
Secondly, some candles, which are from a room that we have not yet revealed:
And lastly, here's a work-in-progress model of the worker unit:
That's all for today! Next week we will have another opportunity for you to help shape the game, so keep your eyes peeled!

Hey folks,
Today we're going to be showing you another new overworld unit, in addition to talking a little bit about how we are handling unit abilities.
First and foremost, you may notice the post is titled 'Unit Spotlight' instead of 'Development Update', this is because we're going to begin varying the format of our news posts as we move towards our new site where we will start to present a wider range of content to you as we continue through development. The first new type of post is the Unit Spotlight, which will focus on a specific unit and explain their role and abilities as well as reveal some artwork.
Before we get to this weeks unit though, I'm going to explain a little bit about how we are handing unit abilities, which will tie in to the format of this post. Most units are going to have 1 utility ability and 5 combat abilities. I say most because there are going to be exceptions to this rule, but generally this is the format that units will follow....

Hey folks,
Today we’re going to be introducing you to the first Empire unit: The Bard.
The Bard is a support unit, heavily focused on buffing his allies. His first two abilities, the Song of Protection and Song of Aggression, are auras that provide a passive offensive or defensive bonus to nearby friendly units, but only one of these auras can be active at any one time.
The Bard’s next ability, Song of Speed, provides a short boost of speed to nearby allies, allowing them to engage enemies more effectively or chase fleeing foes.
Additionally, the Bard is able to use Song of Freedom which will remove any crowd control effects from nearby friendly units, allowing you to effectively counter any enemies with a high amount of crowd control.
The Bard’s final ability, Inspiration, provides massive offensive and defensive stat boost to a single allied unit, along with protecting them from crowd control effects.
If you happen to convert a Bard to your side, he is...
